A good bodywash can really set your day off on the right path. I love a good clean, fresh scent but I'm very picky about natural ingredients and what kind of chemicals I'm absorbing through my skin. Oxyfresh recently sent me a bottle of their new body and face wash to try out. Oxyfresh is mainly known for their natural pet care lines but have been producing personal care products for people as well.
Although I'll tell you straight-up that I am not planning on using this or even trying this as a face wash, I have been using it for the few days as a body wash. Here's what you should know about Oxyfresh Spa Face & Body Wash Pure Gentle. According to their product page, Oxyfresh Spa is:
- GENTLE PH BALANCED FACE AND BODY WASH - I did find it very hydrating. Not the most hydrating body wash I've ever used and you'll still need lotion post shower but it didn't strip my skin of its natural moisture in order to make me feel clean.
- PERFECT FOR DRY SENSITIVE SKIN - My skin is more on the dry side and washes that have too much alcohol based ingredients can easily make me feel itchy. Again, this is not an all-in-one replacement for moisturizing post shower. So although the gel-like wash is rich and creamy in texture, it doesn't leave you with extra moisture.
- GLOWING SKIN - This formula contains vitamin C which is great for brightening your skin. Vitamin C can instantly give a boost to dull looking skin; removing impurities and acting as a hydrating skin moisturizer.
- SOOTHING ALOE VERA AND VITAMINS - The body wash also contains vitamin A and B3 which absorbs through your skin pretty quickly.
A lot of people have commented about the scent of this bodywash. It has a cotton candy type of scent and some people really love it, while others are not so crazy about it. I'm not excited about the scent straight out of the bottle BUT, while actively using it in the shower, it's kind of nice.
A real win for the Oxyfresh Spa Body wash is that it's residue free. That's a real win because I don't like the feeling that I'm exiting the shower with excess bodywash still on my body - resulting in my skin being dried out throughout the day. I also don't like products that create buildup on the skin.
