Los Angeles Times The Taste LA

· FOOD,EVENTS

This past Labor Day Weekend I attend LA Times "The Taste of LA" event. Taste of LA sprawls over 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)and gives you access to the LA foodie scene and what it has to offer. I opted to scale it back and attend the Saturday night "Dinner with a Twist” event since Fashion Week is right around the corner. Dinner with a Twist focused of food and drink pairings. It seemed like this was the night with the most interesting food experiences. There was definitely something for everyone.

Lucky for us, this year was a lot cooler than previous years. In fact I remember 2 years ago when you needed to have your own personal fan to carry around with you just to make it bearable. This year you needed a jacket.

The layout felt different this year. It’s a beautiful long leisurely stroll into the Paramount lot before you get to the first food booth. Just beyond the step and repeat was an endless series of booths serving up some of the most creative and unique dishes any true foodie would kill for! Some of my favorites were:
