Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel + Try- On

I’ve long envied the perfectly bushy eyebrows that you see on little boys wishing I could just replace mine as easy as putting on a wig but for my eyebrows. The thing about eyebrow pencils is that if you draw them on too thick it can look really fake, really fast.

Thanks to the evolution of makeup that shiny plastic drawn on eyebrow look is a thing of the past. Now you can easily cheat full bushy eyebrows that miraculously at the same time manage to be neat and not extend into your hairline. I’m grateful I no longer look at my brother’s eyebrows with envy because I can create my own boy brow!

Milk Makeup introduced the Kush Fiber Brow Gel over Summer 2018. Following their massive success of the Kush Mascara (released on 4/20). A lot of people immediately started comparing the Kush Fiber Brow Gel to Glossier’s Boy Brow Gel. However, Glossier’s Boy Brow is made with traditional beeswax whereas Milk Makeup has replaced the beeswax with Cannabis Oil. Why is this significant? Replacing beeswax with cannabis oil qualifies Milk Makeup’s brow gel as vegan. Not to mention the other benefits that come along with cannabis oil such as aiding in dry skin, psoriasis, eczema, and inflammation. It also helps with binding the fibers in the brow gel preventing them from drying up and flaking. Speaking of flaking, doing my research on the Kush Fiber Brow Gel, I learned that the heart-shaped fibers serve more than one purpose other than being cute. The heart-shaped fibers are actually hollow allowing them to hold the cannabis oil in place which adds volume to your eyebrows. The fibers also hang onto each other making it less likely to flake, unlike traditional cylindrical fibers.

Overall I really love this brow gel. I wish it came in a bigger tube as the standard size is .15oz which isn’t very large. However, it will get you through TSA without a hitch.  It also costs $18.00 which is a bit steep but I’ll see how long it takes to use up the tube.

I like to use the brow gel in addition to filling in my eyebrows with my E.L.F. Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Taupe. I then brush my eyebrows up with the Kush Brow Gel in Haze ( Light Neutral) which is the lightest of the trio. The other shades are Dutch (Medium Neutral) and Grind (Dark Neutral). I think Haze works well whether my eyebrows are lightened or when I let them go on the darker side. I’ve created a tutorial video of how I apply the Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel for my everyday look! Enjoy the video and leave any questions below!
