Crossroads Kitchen: Vegan By Chef Tal Ronnen

Tortelloni

I spent most my life as a vegetarian but I have never had such great plant-based cuisine in my life. The dishes not only smelled like there was meat in them but they really did taste like they were made with meat too! Crossroad will change the way you look at vegan, In fact it will change the way vegans look at vegan.

I was expecting Crossroads to be the type of place where hippies go. Instead I got this gorgeous dining experience. The atmosphere at Crossroads is absolutely impeccable. The wood beams, chandeliers make the aesthetic of the restaurant something from another era. Each dish has this interesting balance of elegant aesthetic and rustic tradition that I find to be native to mediterranean cuisine.

What’s not posted is the Tomato Bisque because honestly who can remember to take photos upon savoring something so good. I really forgot to snap the shot although the camera was in my hand. The rest of the dishes appear as follows:

Crab Cakes
Fall Squash Puree
Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Tortelloni
Wood-Fired Meaty Lasagna
