Is it so cliche for me to say, “ I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year?” Probably so! It’s November 1rst, and so begins the countdown to the New Year filled with holiday music, lots of yummy treats and of course, gifts!

Honestly, I’m a bit tense looking towards the next several weeks. We’re moving in less than 7 days and a quick few weeks after that, we’re off to the east coast for business combined with the holidays.  Not to mention the tons of work I have with Daisi Jo Reviews and My Product Model over the coming weeks. On next weeks Daisi Jo Reviews, I’ll be doing a new apartment tour so be sure to check it out!

Here’s the rundown of the Q&A Session on Daisi Jo Reviews Live:

- What is the difference between body mist and perfume? And also body lotion and body cream?

- What are some homemade ointments recipes to help reduce darkness in lips?

Do you look taller after going to the gym? I'm 5′6. Will I appear taller, or shorter, after going to the gym?

- What are the best tips to remove adhesive from your skin?

- Can someone give a good workout plan to stay thin while I eat whatever, and as much as I want?

What is the difference between body mist and perfume? And also body lotion and body cream?
Basically, the difference between body mist and perfume is the concentration of perfume oils. In perfumes, the main ingredient is the perfume oils and in body mist the main ingredients is a mixture of water, alcohol, other ingredients and a small percent (2-3%) of perfume oils. As for body lotion and body creams; body creams are much heavier and contain a higher viscosity. Body lotions absorb much quicker and typically have a higher water content. Daisi Jo Reviews goes Live on FACEBOOK.com/daisijoreviews every Wednesday at 12pm to talk the latest in fashion, beauty, tech and more.

What are some homemade ointments recipes to help reduce darkness in lips?

Darkness in lips can be both a natural pigmentation or a result of excess dead skin cells on the lips. If you have naturally dark lips than there isn’t much you can do to lighten them. However, if you have dead skin buildup on your lips, the most all natural and easy to make ointment recipe for reducing darkness in lips is a mixture of brown raw sugar, lemon, and olive oil.

Do you look taller after going to the gym? I'm 5′6. Will I appear taller, or shorter, after going to the gym?

The short answer is, “Yes”. Working out can make you look taller but it can also make you look stockier depending on which exercises and which areas of the body you are training. For example, if you are doing yoga or pilates, then you will typically look taller because the exercises make your body look longer and leaner. If you are lifting heavy weights to build bulkier muscles than you may look shorter and stalkier. The results also depend on your natural body type.

What are the best tips to remove adhesive from your skin?

I feel this question is very timely being that it’s the day after Halloween. Baby oil is a great substance for removing adhesives from your skin. If you need additional help for removing extra sticky adhesive, taking a warm bath and then using ice on the sticky area will also help.

Can someone give a good workout plan to stay thin while I eat whatever, and as much as I want?

There’s no foolproof way to avoid gaining weight if you are consuming more daily calories than you typically do without also increasing your daily output of energy whether that be daily activities, working out and so forth. A general plan that should help anyone would include increasing the workout plan you already use, adding in extra walks, drinking additional water throughout the day and watching the amount of food you’re consuming in each sitting.
