Views from The Skyroom

I spent last Friday at The Historic Skyroom Restaurant & Lounge listening to some of the best jazz LA has offer and feasting on some of the best dishes known to Long beach. I was there on official hosting duties for a Live Jazz event for some friends over at Jazztyme Entertainment. I must say the views at The Skyroom are the best views overlooking Long Beach. The venue is total of 18 stories with the restaurant at the top. Throughout the night I sampled a few of their happy hour plates: the Bison Short Rib Sope, the Braised Bison Short Rib Slider and the Fish Tacos.

The Bison Short Rib Sope came as a highly recommended selection and I came on a rather modest night where I was watching my alcohol and calorie consumption (which is not suggested if you are planning to dine at The Skyroom). Nonetheless I did indulge in the desert menu.

The Skyroom is open daily for Happy Hour and Dinner. Check the website for specific hours, http://www.theskyroom.com/
